Mission:

The Network of Multicultural Aging (NOMA) is a national community of individuals and organizations who are concerned with diversity and working toward cultural competence on all levels.

Focus:

To promote the understanding, appreciation and use of cultural differences as a critical factor in the development of systems, institutions and programs in the aging network.  To provide a forum for discussing and addressing issues of multicultural aging, diversity and cultural competence.  To collaborate with other ASA constituent groups and standing committees to weave issues of diversity and cultural competence into the fabric of the organization.  To provide consultation, technical assistance and educational support to its members.
