Focus: |
To promote
the understanding, appreciation and use of cultural differences as a
critical factor in the development of systems, institutions and
programs in the aging network. To provide a forum for discussing
and addressing issues of multicultural aging, diversity and cultural
competence. To collaborate with other ASA constituent groups and
standing committees to weave issues of diversity and cultural
competence into the fabric of the organization. To provide
consultation, technical assistance and educational support to its
members. |
