Mission:

The Costin Institute is an academic program specifically designed for Osteopathic Medical personnel currently involved in teaching and academic management or aspiring to a career in academe.

The Costin Institute was founded in 2003 through the generous support of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation.  It is named in honor of J. Richard Costin, D.O., one of the osteopathic profession's leading surgeons and teachers of general surgery.  Dr. Costin is a 1949 graduate of CCOM.
