This is an excellent story
that follows the Banes family, a poor African-American Family in
urban Chicago, as they cope with their health problems and their
inability to get health care. The story is interspersed with
well-researched discussions about health care delivery and health
care financing. The story is powerful and the book is easy to
read and can also be read as individual chapters for readers who do
not have the time to read all of the book. Highly recommended
for health care professionals working in urban communities. (M.
