Communityhealth Clinic

Communityhealth is a clinic in Chicago which provides primary healthcare to a patient population that cannot afford health insurance. The clinic is able to do this by recruiting hundreds of health care workers in the Chicagoland area to volunteer their time at the clinic. It is in this spirit of providing service to the community that CCOM students have begun to organize a clinic of their own at Communityhealth one night a week. Students from all four classes of medical school as well as staff at CCOM and Midwestern University are involved with the implementation of this clinic. CCOM's clinic will be held on Thursday nights and students involved are actively searching for volunteers that are interested in providing service to the community at the clinic.
